Naracoorte children can have fun, play and learn at the new Children Museum at the Sheep’s Back Museum.
The new museum was officially opened by Governor of South Australia Hieu Van Le on Saturday, after many years of hard work by the volunteers at the Naracoorte National Trust branch.
Speaking at the opening on Saturday, Judy Murdoch said the volunteers had been working on the children’s museum on and off for five years.
The museum is housed in a former classroom from Kybybolite Primary School, which closed in 1998.
With the help of the late David Munn, the building was moved to the current location, and local artist Rod Bax, other local artists and volunteers have worked hard to bring the museum to life as a fun, interactive and…
